One Dead After Vehicle Crash on Highway 19 Near Loris

One person died after their vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire on Highway 19 in Loris yesterday afternoon. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the vehicle was headed north on Highway 19 when it ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree near Highway 410. The name of the person who died has not been released and no additional information is currently available. The SCHP is still investigating.
