Manhunt for Alabama Corrections Officer, Inmate Ends in Evansville, Indiana

Former Alabama corrections officer Vicky White and inmate Casey White were captured yesterday after evading authorities for the past 11 days. The manhunt ended after both were captured in Evansville, Indiana by a US Marshals Fugitive Task Force. A high speed chase ended when a task force member drove a vehicle into their Cadillac. According to authorities, Vicky shot herself in the head and was hospitalized in serious condition before she was pronounced dead last night. Authorities were able to remove Casey from the vehicle and are currently preparing to begin the process of extraditing him back to Alabama.
