Dating Apps Aren’t the Only Place Men Lie About Their Height
A University of Washington study reports men are more likely to fib on their height.
A TikTok user has sparked a debate after posting a clip of what she calls her dating fact-check method. She uses a tape measure to mark 6 feet on a door frame to fact check dates who are consistently coming up short. Meaning she has her date preferences set to height minimum and only those matching are supposed to be matched with her. She says it’s become a problem that men are lying about their height. Her post has gotten millions of views. Meanwhile a University of Washington study reports men are more likely to fib on their height not just on dating profiles but even on health questionnaires! But, women are more likely to stretch the truth on their weight.
