Audra Coble

Before joining Not the News, Audra did the real news. Audra joined the ABC affiliate WPDE in Myrtle Beach/Florence as a news anchor and reporter. Her three years at WPDE produced investigative pieces that gained the attention of her coworkers and the Associated Press. She was nominated for The Associated Press Best Investigative reporter for her research and breaking news story “The Treasurer‘s Files” that returned $1 million to the local economy. Before moving to Florence, while still in college Audra was the weather anchor for Cable News 2, where she says she pretty much borrowed the weather channel‘s forecasts. Audra has also been a spokesperson for Florence County Economic Development and Progress Energy‘s Robinson Nuclear Plant. Her all-time favorite job has been her role as mom of son John and daughter Grant, and wife of husband John. Audra graduated from Winthrop University with a B.A. in Mass Communication. In her leisure you may find Audra upside down in a yoga class, rollerblading, fishing, reading and volunteering. She also likes to bungee, the old-fashioned, drop from a crane style. Audra currently resides in Florence with her family and spends most of her summers here at the beach.
