UNC Cheating Scandal

Leaders at the University of North Carolina are doing damage control after an investigation finds widespread academic fraud on campus. The report by former federal prosecutor Kenneth Wainstein shows the scandal goes back nearly two decades, and says more than 3100 students who were enrolled at the Chapel Hill campus didn’t have to attend class and received artificially inflated grades. Nearly half the students involved were athletes.
