Are CDs Making a Comeback?

CD sales grew by more than one hundred million dollars from 2020 to 2021.

The Recording Industry Association of America says physical CD sales grew by more than one hundred million dollars from 2020 to 2021.   This increase still doesn’t match the numbers hit during their prime in 2000, but could point towards a shift in the industry.   Meanwhile, vinyl sales have been steadily rising through the years, with record sales bringing in a billion dollars in revenue last year.
