Toyota has placed a recall on over 228,000 vehicles.

The recall covers certain 2022-2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid 7-passengers vehicles. It was placed due to an issue with the second-row seat backs.

The backs may fail to remain secured in the event of a crash. That could fail to properly protect an occupant.

Owners can take their vehicle to a dealership that will update the supplemental restraint system (SRS) electronic control unit (ECU) software.
