Spirit Christmas Stores To Open 44 Locations Across 15 States

Spirit Christmas' new locations will be spread across states including one in Mebane, North Carolina and one in Charleston, South Carolina.

Spirit Christmas is returning for another year.

Spirit Christmas stores are a spin-off of Spirit Halloween that founder Joseph Marver first tested in 1990. It was revived from 2005-2006 after Spencer Gifts brought the holiday brand back for a brief run after acquiring Spirit Halloween.

The concept was then relaunched in 2024 with eight locations. Last year, the store number nearly quadrupled. 30 stores opened across eight states. This year, Spirit Christmas stores will open with 44 locations. They will be spread across 15 states including one in Mebane, North Carolina and one in Charleston.

The brand touts itself as a “one-stop destination for all things Christmas.’ The stores will open the first week of November after transitioning from Spirit Halloween locations.
