Man Hurt During Trump Assassination Attempt Dies From Injuries

The man who was injured during one of President Trump’s attempted assassinations, has now died.

James Copenhaver was wounded in a failed attempt to take Trump’s life in 2024. He was one of several people who attempted assassin Thomas Crooks shot at the Butler Farm Show Complex in Pennsylvania. That occurred after Crooks scaled a nearby roof and took aim at the then presidential candidate.

James was in the bleachers at the time and sustained serious injuries when the gunman opened fire. He died on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 76 from complications due to his injuries, but the exact cause of death was not disclosed.
