Chris Christie Considers Third Presidential Run

Christie questioned whether the party will decide it needs to change its approach or "the dominant wing" of the party.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he’s considering a third presidential run in 2028.

Christie will run as the Republican Party faces a bleak midterm outlook. He is a one time Trump ally who ran against him for the GOP nomination in 2024.

Christie questioned whether the party will decide it needs to change its approach or “the dominant wing” of the party, “if we do a lot of losing six weeks from today.”

“Once you go through the thought process of convincing yourself that you can be president, and then the next step that you should be president, that doesn’t leave your brain,” Christie said.
