Aldi Is Slashing Prices For Certain Items This Fall

The move comes as grocery shoppers have seen increased prices this year amid high inflation and prices at the pump.

Aldi announced plans to lower a third of its prices for the fall season.

The retailer said the cuts will deliver an estimated $86 million in savings to customers. Items included in the price drops include fall staples such as Bartlett pears, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash and spaghetti squash. Its Kirkwood chicken breast family packs are now $1.99 a pound, the lowest price since 2022.

The price reductions will run from Sept. 23 until at least Nov. 3 at stores nationwide. The move comes as grocery shoppers have seen increased prices this year amid high inflation and prices at the pump.
