Man Sentenced To Life In Killing Of 19-Year-Old

The jury deliberated for an hour and a half before returning to announce a guilty verdict.

A Georgetown County man was found guilty in a third killing.

In May, 2021, Ryan Woodruff killed his uncle Roger Woodruff and Debra Goins in a meth-induced rage. While out on bond for those murders, he allegedly shot and killed 19-year-old Ty’Quez Walker in January, 2023.

In the first two killings, he was found guilty and was served a double life sentence. He stood trial this week for Walker’s death. The jury deliberated for an hour and a half before returning to announce a guilty verdict.

Woodruff was sentenced to life in prison for the murder charge and five years for possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
