JKMax has recalled 198,000 heating blankets and pads after receiving over 500 reports that the products may smoke, melt, or burn because the heating element wire can overheat.

The company is aware of 53 reports of burn injuries. The products were sold in multiple sizes and have a detachable remote that can be used to adjust the heat.

The blankets were sold on Amazon between September, 2022 and July, 2026 as a one-pack or two-pack. Consumers should stop using the product and contact JKMax for a full refund.
