One Person Injured In Fire At Shopping Plaza

The flames broke out at a commercial building at The Shoppes at Forest Square along Oakheart Road near Postal Way.

A fire at a shopping plaza in Carolina Forest left one person injured.

Around 7pm on Saturday, Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the flames at a commercial building at The Shoppes at Forest Square along Oakheart Road near Postal Way.

Smoke spread through the building and crews had to ventilate it. One person was taken a to a hospital to be treated for injuries. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
