President Trump Warns Nations Against Aiding Iran

Trump's statement came as Iranian leaders also warned neighboring Gulf states against assisting the U.S. military.

President Trump issued a stern warning to any nation thinking about offering assistance to Iran.

“I am announcing the MOST CRUSHING ECONOMIC OPERATION EVER TAKEN AGAINST ANY COUNTRY! This will be Economic Warfare and Isolation on an unprecedented scale,” Trump posted to Truth Social.

He added, “”I am also announcing that ANY country that allows its financial institutions, businesses, airports, or government entities to provide any type of lifeline to Iran will itself face TREMENDOUS Economic Consequences.”

Trump went on to say this will be an “ECONOMIC D-DAY,” adding that the U.S. needs all of its allies to stand with it to “isolate and defeat the Iran threat.” Trump’s statement came as Iranian leaders also warned neighboring Gulf states against assisting the U.S. military.
