Investigation Underway After Man Shot Several Times Near Buc-ee’s

Investigators found eight shell casings and other evidence of the shooting at the Buc-ee's. At this time, no arrests have been made.

An investigation is underway after one man was shot multiple times in Florence County.

The shooting occurred around 4:30am Monday in the area of the Buc-ee’s off Interstate 95. The victim left work at Harbor Freight when he noticed another car was behind him with its bright lights on before the shooting unfolded.

The victim was shot several times but is expected to be ok. Investigators found eight shell casings and other evidence of the shooting at the Buc-ee’s. At this time, no arrests have been made.

Authorities are working to learn more regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including what led up to it.
