John Paul Miller’s Federal Trial Delayed

The court found that the delay services the interests of justice and outweighs the interest in a speedy trial.

The federal trial for John Paul Miller has been delayed.

The former Myrtle Beach pastor’s pre-trial conference that was scheduled for August 25 has been canceled.

Miller has been granted several continuances this year, including after a defense motion, with the consent of federal prosecutors. The court found that the delay services the interests of justice and outweighs the interest in a speedy trial.

The case has been continued to the October term of court. In December of 2025, Miller was charged with one count of cyberstalking and one count of lying to federal investigators in connection to his late wife, Mica Miller.
