Bicyclist Struck And Killed In Hit And Run

61-year-old Jennifer Ross was identified as the cyclist and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A hit and run in Robeson County claimed the life of one person.

The crash happened around 10:40am Saturday along East Parkton Tobermory Road. An unidentified vehicle was traveling east on the road when it failed to reduce speed and struck a bicyclist from behind.

The driver did not stop and fled the scene following the crash. 61-year-old Jennifer Ross was identified as the cyclist and was pronounced dead at the scene.
