Pentagon Confirms U.S. Service Members Injured Amid Iran Attacks

Nearly 100 U.S. service members have sustained injuries since the U.S. military began launching continuous attacks against Iran.

The Pentagon confirmed that nearly 100 U.S. service members have sustained injuries since the U.S. military began launching continuous attacks against Iran earlier this month. The Pentagon added that 96% of them have returned to duty.

“They are determined to get back in the fight,” Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell said. He added, “The vast majority of injuries experienced were minor concussions. Further updates will be posted on the defense casualty analysis system. God is good!”

The update comes as the death toll has gone up to 17. Two service members were killed in an Iranian attack on U.S. troops in Jordan on Friday. Another american was killed in action on Saturday amid Iran’s attack on an air base. U.S. Central Command said another service member died in northern Iraq on Saturday during a “controlled detonation” of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone.
