The sister of late Sen. Lindsey Graham announced she will run for a full Senate term in carrying on his legacy.

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Darline Graham Nordone to fill the seat nearly 48 hours after Lindsey died suddenly from an aortic dissection. The move made her the first female U.S. Senator to represent the Palmetto State.

Now, she’s bidding for the full six-year term. She outlined her political priorities saying she plans to focus primarily on domestic issues rather than foreign policy and place greater emphasis on day-to-day concerns of South Carolinians. She added that she’s worried about the price of groceries, the price of gas, health care, insurance, and more.
