Panasonic Recalls Over 11K Electric Toaster Ovens

The issue stems from the protective fiberglass sleeve not adequately covering the power cord.

Panasonic is recalling thousands of electric toaster ovens.

The recall covers its model number NB-G200 Electric Toaster Ovens. They were sold from Oct. 2024 through April 2026 via Panasonic’s website, as well as through Costco’s online shop, Amazon and other online retailers nationwide.

The issue stems from the protective fiberglass sleeve not adequately covering the power cord, causing insufficient insulation. The issue poses a risk of shock and-or a fire hazard.

There have been several reports related to the issue but no fires or injuries have been reported. Owners should stop use and contact Panasonic for a full refund.
