A Honda Accord was traveling east along Chinaberry Road near N. Price Road when it struck the pedestrian that was in the street.

The situation unfolded around 10:30pm Tuesday. A Honda Accord was traveling east along Chinaberry Road near N. Price Road when it struck the pedestrian that was in the street.

The driver of the Honda was not injured. The identity of the pedestrian has not been publicly revealed at this time.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
