Stop by the shelter on Wednesday, July 1, from 11 AM–5 PM to enjoy some sweet treats with our team.

The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is celebrating with a unique fundraising event that gives the community a chance to win $1,000 while supporting a lifesaving mission.
The inaugural “Take a Drop for the Animals” Golf Ball Drop will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Barefoot Resort & Golf on the driving range. Participants can purchase Golf Ball Drop tickets in advance, with each ticket assigned a number that corresponds to a numbered golf ball. At 5:00 p.m., the golf balls will be dropped from a 35-foot scissor lift onto the driving range. The ticket holder whose numbered golf ball lands in the hole will win the $1,000 grand prize. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by random drawing. Every ticket purchased will also be entered into additional prize drawings.
Following the Golf Ball Drop, the community is invited to continue the celebration during a Dine to Donate at Putters Pub, located at 5183 Barefoot Resort Bridge Road in North Myrtle Beach, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A portion of the sales during the event will benefit the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. Community members do not need to purchase a Golf Ball Drop ticket or participate in the Golf Ball Drop to attend the Dine to Donate. Everyone is welcome to join the celebration, enjoy dinner, celebrate 25 years of lifesaving.
Golf Ball Drop tickets are $10 for one ticket (one golf ball) or $25 for three tickets (3 golf balls). Tickets can be purchased online at https://humanesocietynmb.org/golf-ball-drop/ or in person at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.

Also, they are always in need of donations for their pets. Currently they are overflowing with kittens who are in need of both dry and canned kitten food! Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, located at 409 Bay Street in North Myrtle Beach. You can also order from their Amazon Wish List or Chewy Wish List.
