90-Acre Blaze In Marlboro County 90% Contained

Crews are continuing to work on containing the fire and officials say smoke is expected to remain visible.

Marlboro County fire crews are working to contain an estimated 90-acre woods fire.

The flames have been burning since Friday off of Marlboro Road. The blaze is now around 90% contained.

The fire prompted assistance from the South Carolina Forestry Commission, Wallace Fire Rescue, the Bennettsville Fire Department and more.
