The French Toast Doughnut, Parlor’s most popular doughnut, features the brand’s signature flaky layered dough topped with maple glaze, cinnamon sugar, and a drizzle of icing.

National Doughnut Day has roots dating back to 1938, when The Salvation Army established the holiday to honor the “Doughnut Lassies” who were women volunteers that served fresh doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. The treats became a symbol of comfort and morale for troops overseas and helped popularize doughnuts across the United States.
