Crash Involving Motorcycle Results In Death Of One Person

A Suzuki motorcycle was heading north on Hoffmeyer Road when it struck the rear of the Yukon.

A crash involving a motorcycle in Florence County claimed the life of one person.

The accident happened around 8:30pm Wednesday. A GMC Yukon was traveling west on Chelsea Drive when it attempted to make a left onto Hoffmeyer Road.

A Suzuki motorcycle was heading north on Hoffmeyer Road when it struck the rear of the Yukon. When officials arrived, the motorcycle was on fire.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene but their identity was not publicly released. The driver of the Yukon was not hurt. An investigation is underway.
