The Wolverines defeated the UConn Huskies in a thrilling game to secure the championship. With 37-seconds left, Michigan’s Solo Ball shot a three pointer to give them a four point lead of 67-63.
In the final minutes, Trey McKenney secured the win, largely sealed by his earlier crucial 3-pointer and key free throws. Overall, Michigan gained a 69-63 victory.
