Three Suspects Identified Following Scotland Co. Shooting

Each suspect is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and more.

The three suspects that were arrested in connection to a Scotland County shooting have been identified.

The shooting unfolded Tuesday night along Old Wire Road in the Laurel Hill area. The victim was able to drive to a Dollar General store where law enforcement was contacted. He was airlifted to a hospital to be treated but his current condition is unknown.

An investigation led to the arrests of 18-year-old Elijah Mauk, 20-year-old Quinnin Jacobs, and Cody Brewer.

Each suspect is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder, discharging a firearm to incite fear, and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or vehicle. Brewer and Jacobs also face charges involving drugs and/or firearms.
