CCU To Host Annual 12-Hour Relay For Life
The event will raise funds to support cancer research, patient services, and advocacy efforts.
Coastal Carolina University is set to host its annual Relay for Life.
The fundraising event is organized by the American Cancer Society. It invites the community including students, families, and supporters alike to participate in a 12-hour walk.
The event will raise funds to support cancer research, patient services, and advocacy efforts. It will also celebrate cancer survivors and those who lost their cancer battle. The festival-like experience will also feature games and ceremonies.
Their last relay raised over $150,000 and this year’s goal is to reach $160,000. This year’s theme is “An Island of Hope: Survivor Gameshow Themed.” You must register to participate. The event will take place April 11 from 11am-11pm at Blanton Park in Conway.
