21-year-old Austin Martin was allegedly armed with a shotgun and a fuel can and officials ordered him to drop the items.

A man was shot and killed after breaching a secure perimeter at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property Sunday.

21-year-old Austin Martin of North Carolina was reported missing over the last few days. He was allegedly witnessed near the property’s northgate around 1:30am Sunday. He was stopped by a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy and two Secret Service agents.

Martin was armed with a shotgun and a fuel can and officials ordered him to drop the items. He allegedly put the gas can down, but “raised the shotgun to a shooting position,” forcing authorities to fire their weapons at him in response.

No law enforcement officials were injured during the shooting, but Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. The president was in Washington at the time and has not yet publicly addressed the incident.
