2026 Winter Olympics Wraps With USA Placing Second In The Standings

The next Winter Olympics will be held in the French Alps in February of 2030.

The 2026 Winter Olympics have officially wrapped.

Team USA made history after the men’s ice hockey team won their first gold medal in 46 years by defeating Canada 2-1 in overtime Sunday.

The U.S. secured a total of 33 medals including, 12 gold, 12 silver, and nine bronze. That placed USA second in the standing behind Norway, who secured 41 medals in total. Italy placed in third winning a total of 30 while Germany secured 26 and Japan won 24.

The games ended with a closing ceremony in Verona. The next Winter Olympics will be held in the French Alps in February of 2030.
