Nancy Guthrie’s Family Cleared As Suspects In Her Disappearance

The search for Nancy Guthrie is still ongoing as officials continue working to learn more.

The 84-year-old was abducted from her Arizona home on January 31. Authorities have been investigating all possible leads, though they do not have any suspects or persons of interest.

Members of the Guthrie family, including siblings and spouses, have been officially cleared as possible suspects in the case. Officials say the family has been cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case.

“To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said. The statement comes after the case gained nationwide attention leading people to discuss theories about what happened, with some blaming Guthrie’s family.

Surveillance footage captured an armed suspect believed to be a male around 5 foot 9 or 10. The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for info leading to Guthrie’s return or arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
