Construction Underway For Amazon Center In Carolina Forest Area

A completion date for the center has not been announced at this time.

Amazon is building a new delivery center in Horry County. The facility will have over 27 acres transformed into a hub that aims to expedite package deliveries.

Construction is currently underway and the center will be located along Postal Way in the Carolina Forest area.

An Horry County council member says the development comes without tax incentives, adding that amazon has agreed to create a traffic plan to allow delivery drivers access to Highway 501 directly during hours of less traffic.

Amazon said the facility will create dozens of local job. A completion date for the center has not been announced at this time.
