22.6 million American workers planned to miss work today, Super Bowl Monday.

Did you wake up this morning…pull yourself together and force yourself to go to work? Or, did you suddenly come down with “that bug that’s been going around?”

According to an annual survey, an estimated 22.6 million American workers planned to miss work today, Super Bowl Monday. That’s up from last year, and also breaks the previous record. There may have been even more no-shows than that, because this was just people who planned to stay home. There were probably more who decided at the last minute not to go in.
