Man Arrested In Connection To Sexual Assault Of 7-Year-Old Girl

24-year-old Devon Thomas is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.

One man is behind bars following a sexual assault investigation in Horry County.

On January 30, officers responded to a home in the Conway area on reports of assault. Upon arrival, a 7-year-old girl informed officers that 24-year-old Devon Thomas inappropriately touched her.

Medical personnel were called to the scene and Thomas was arrested a short time later. After a medical exam was performed, Thomas was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 11. He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.
