Welfare Check Prompts Death Investigation In Robeson Co.

42-year-old Robert Taylor Jr. was found deceased.

A welfare check conducted Tuesday morning in Robeson County prompted an investigation.

Deputies arrived at a home on Lewis Farm Road in the Shannon community. They found 42-year-old Robert Taylor Jr. deceased. He appeared to have been shot.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Criminal Investigations Divisions are now investigating the case. Anyone with information should contact authorities.
