The identity of a man arrested in connection to shots fired in Florence County has been revealed.

The situation unfolded Wednesday night on Barringer Street. Two females and two juveniles reportedly pulled into a location and were approached by 47-year-old Maurice Wilson. He threatened them and told them they needed to leave.

The group began to leave when they heard several gunshots from behind them. The vehicle was struck by a gunshot, but no one was injured.

Wilson fled the area but officers were able to locate and detain him. A stolen handgun was located and believed to be involved in the shooting.
