A family in Horry County is offering a reward for information that could help them find out how their horse died.

The 6-year-old horse named Slick was shot and killed sometime between Nov. 8 and 9 at their farm property along Gilbert Road in Conway. The case is still under investigation.

The family reported they were unaware of anyone who would want to harm the animal. They are now offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can provide any information.
