The first incident unfolded on Saturday near Interstate 74 mile marker 193 close to the Maxton. In that case, 47-year-old Christopher Strickland was arrested and is facing several felony and misdemeanor charges. He is being held on a $250,000 bond at the Robeson County Detention Center.

The second incident also took place on Saturday when police pursued a vehicle into the Prospect Community, where suspects fled. 26-year-old Mckyia Chavis was arrested and is facing multiple charges. He is also being held at the Robeson County Detention Center. Authorities are now searching for another individual that was involved in the prospect community pursuit.
