Suspect Identified In Fatal Shooting Following Horry Co. Crash

We now have additional details on a fatal shooting that happened following a crash in Horry County.

The accident took place along Highway 90 near Star Bluff Road in the Longs area. The crash prompted an altercation between 33-year-old Paul Greenwood and 23-year-old Elijaih Taylor.

A woman was traveling west along the road when Greenwood, driving a white truck, collided with her vehicle. Taylor’s car was also damaged in the collision.

Video shows Taylor and Greenwood arguing as Taylor blames Greenwood for the crash. Taylor is then seen reaching into his pocket as Greenwood backs up and runs away while Taylor fires four gunshots.

Greenwood was struck and pronounced dead at the scene. Taylor was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
