Man Fatally Shot Following Horry Co. Crash

One man was shot and killed following a crash in Horry County.

The crash occurred just before 8am Tuesday along Highway 90 near Star Bluff Road in the Wampee area.

The accident led to an altercation that prompted several shots fired. 33-year-old Paul Greenwood was shot and did not survive the injuries he sustained.

One person was taken into custody but their identity and charges they face have not been publicly revealed. Horry County police are investigating the incident as a homicide.

A section of Highway 90 was closed for several hours as officials investigated the scene.
