Chick-fil-A Launches Items In Honor Of 80th Anniversary Celebration

Chick-fil-A added Frosted Sodas and Floats to start the year-long anniversary celebration.

Chick-fil-A is launching new menu items in honor of it’s 80th anniversary celebration.

The fast-food chain is tapping into its “heritage” with food and drink offerings, throwback packaging and other surprises.

Under the chicken nugget category, there are two new menu items available. Chick-fil-A also added Frosted Sodas and Floats to start the year-long anniversary celebration.

Frosted Sodas are a blended drink made with Chick-fil-A’s Icedream, the chain’s vanilla soft serve ice cream. customers can choose to mix the ice cream with one of eight drink offerings. The Floats are a nod to the retro, soda-shop staple.

It’s nostalgic Classic Cups are available for purchase, designed to look like the brand’s previous packaging, for the cost $3.99 and come with the possibility of freebies. Other vintage-inspired packages will also be offered including the Original Chicken Sandwich meal package.
