Police Search For Second Suspect In Pregnant Woman’s Death

Sincere Hickman is considered "armed and dangerous" and should not be approached.

Police are searching for a second suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old pregnant woman.

On December 1, Zynaija Thomas and her boyfriend were sitting in a vehicle on Roberts Street in Florence when another vehicle pulled up and fired shots. Thomas was struck and transported to a hospital where she later died. It was discovered she was pregnant.

Previously 17-year-old Ja’Kaurie Bell was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police are now searching for Sincere Hickman who is wanted on the same charges as well as criminal conspiracy. He is considered “armed and dangerous” and should not be approached.

A reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact Florence County authorities.
