A long-established diner in Conway is closing its doors.

Willard and Donzelle Dickerson first opened ‘Donzelle’s’ in 1962. Over the years the restaurant became a local staple with regulars creating a community surrounding the eatery.

Locals have expressed their sadness over the closure announcement as many have made it a routine to get a meal at least once a week.

Owner Marley Crotts said there are several reasons for closing, including relocation and retirements. She added that she intends to bring the restaurant back in some sort in the future, but for now a break is needed.

After 63 years, the last day open will be Christmas Eve
