City Of NMB Pours Foundation For New Fire Station 7

The new station will be located behind the UPS building along Water Tower Road.

The city of North Myrtle Beach has give an update on progress for a new fire station.

Construction of Station 7 is on schedule after the foundation has been poured for both the living quarters and a police substation that will be part of the facility.

The station plans to house an engine company, a staffed ladder truck, a battalion chief, and a brush truck.  The staffed ladder will be only the second in the city.

The new station will be located behind the UPS building along Water Tower Road. The project is expected to be complete by next December with service set to start in 2027.
