Wegmans Mixed Nuts Recalled Over Salmonella Concerns

Wegmans said the affected products were sold across several states including North Carolina.

A recall has been placed on Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted products.

The recall covers both 34oz and 11.5oz versions. It was placed due to the potential of salmonella contamination. The issue was discovered during routine testing.

Wegmans said the affected products were sold across several states including North Carolina between Nov. 1 and December 1.

No illness have been reported in relation to the issue but consumers are urged to refrain from consuming the nuts and throw them out or return them to place of purchase.
