Myrtle Beach To Break Ground On New Fire Station 1
The new two-story, six-bay facility will be built off Robert Grissom Parkway.
The city of Myrtle Beach is set to break ground on a new fire station.
Station No. 1 is currently located on Mr. Joe White Avenue and has served the city since 1999. However, there is a need for another station due to lack of space.
The new two-story, six-bay facility will be built off Robert Grissom Parkway. It will also serve as the home of the city’s emergency operations center, which has also reportedly outgrown its current space.
An official date for the groundbreaking has not been set.
