Man Found Beaten And Deceased On Porch Of Home

57-year-old Willie Haynesworth was found deceased on the porch of his home.

One man has been arrested following an incident in Florence County.

On Tuesday, police responded to the 900 block of West Dixie Street where 57-year-old Willie Haynesworth was found deceased on the porch of his home. It appeared he had been severely assaulted before dying.

An investigation revealed that suspect Antoine Brundidge and Haynesworth got into an altercation. That prompted Brundidge to assault Haynesworth causing fatal injuries.

Brundidge was located at a nearby motel where he was taken into custody. Further details are limited.
