19-Year-Old Arrested In Connection To Fatal Robeson Co. Shooting
25-year-old Karrington Locklear later died from the injuries sustained.
One person has been arrested in connection to a Thanksgiving morning shooting in Robeson County.
Around 1:45am, police responded to Red Hill Road in the Maxton area on reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, authorities learned that two victims had been transported to a hospital.
25-year-old Karrington Locklear later died from the injuries sustained. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
19-year-old Triston Hunt has since been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, felony conspiracy, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
An investigation remains underway and anyone with information is asked to contact Robeson County officials.
