Woman Arrested In Connection To Motel Stabbing

A 19-year-old is now facing charges following a stabbing incident in Florence County.

Alaya Fleming is accused of stabbing an employee of the motel several times after a verbal argument.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

Fleming fled the scene but was arrested Monday. She was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and giving false information to law enforcement.
